Jingbo is a Lecturer in Commercial and Maritime Law at Law School, University of Southampton, UK. Before taking up this full time position, Jingbo has done part-time teaching in LL.M International Trade Law course at Southampton while doing her PhD research.
Jingbo's current research focuses on letter of credit as a primary instrument of payment in international trade transactions and its application under the framework of the Uniform Custom Practice (now is the UCP600). Jingbo’s research outcomes have been successfully presented at both international and national conferences and subsequently turned into the high-quality journal articles.
Jingbo is also keen on building the cross-border relationship and exchanging the cutting-edge ideas between academics. She has co-ordinated the Chinese-English Insurance Law Conference in April 2013 and the Chinese-English Maritime Law Conference in April 2014.
